To escape from my bodily prison, knee.

This fleshy runaway had no respect.

He said, “I have rejection issues, hard.”

“I must leave you before I am left dry.”

A piece of my knee, of myself, is Not.

He now belongs to our, my universe.

My skin was dead so that he could start life.

But why allow my heart to die as well?

Every day I am reminded of

How my tragic fall started our strange love.

He left a permanent scab on my soul.

The Secret Underground of Iceland (via Stuck in Customs)

 the most magical staircase I’ve ever seen.

My toaster oven and convection oven are whispering to one another. 

They are planning a coup de gras on the kitchen, later on in the week.

I have clocks on beds and walls that think they know nothing of wasted time.

For them a Dali tribute is enough.

I’ve discovered that I don’t need a closet, my skeletons are gone.

A bird sleeps behind me like a restful night with no traffic.

And I can hear the phantom music coming from next door,

A mixture of jazz and confusion.

Alone in this house, I feel exhilerated and leave all the windows unlocked, for a rush.
